This handsome cigar box bears the inscription: Ihrem Ehrengast Herrn Professor A. Brodsky zur freundlichen Erinnerung an die Concertsaison 1888-1889. Die Mitglieder des Neuen Philharm. Orchesters unter Leitung des Herrn Dr. H. v. Bülow. Hamburg, March 1889.] This was presented in gratitude to Adolph Brodsky after Brodsky had given considerable help to von Bulow and his orchestra.
